Dear members of Immanuel.

Greetings in the name of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I pray the Lord’s blessings upon you all during this uncertain time. As things are starting to ease

up and the restrictions are slowly being lifted, I pray that you all stay healthy and safe. We still

need to make good choices about how we are going to handle this situation. I know we are all

getting tired of not being able to do what we want to do. It gets frustrating and hard to do. We

want to get out and about and get back to normal, or as close to normal as we can.

The restrictions for having in person services at church have changed this month. Governor

Ricketts says that the 10 person rule no longer applies to churches but ... there are still conditions

that have to be followed. The Board of Elders met and for the welfare of our members and still

having a number of questions about Covid 19 and what is going to happen, have decided not to

have in person services at this time. We will keep monitoring the situation and decide when it

will be best for services. We want everyone to be safe and stay healthy.

We will continue to tape the Sunday service and post it on the church’s website,

immanuelevlutheran.org, go to the Online Content tab to find it. It will also be posted to our

Facebook page.

I encourage you to be in God’s Word at home, have devotions, by the way you can also find a

morning devotion by Pastor Mueller and an evening devotion by Pastor Schnare on the Online

Content tab on the church’s website.

Jesus Christ is the one who will help us through this time. Remember who is control, that we

have a loving heavenly Father who sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross and rise from

the dead to forgive our sins. During these times we remember that we have the victory through

our Lord Jesus Christ, we have become God’s children through Baptism and through the work of

Jesus Christ. If there is any way I can help you during these times, please get a hold of me. My

cell is 308.760.7213 and email is doulos63@gmail.com.

The Lord bless and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The

Lord look upon you with favor and give you peace. Amen.

Blessings!

Pastor Mueller
